Epson Epson Stylus Photo R1800

R1800 new printer driver produces dreadful colours

I have an Epson Stylus Photo R1800. The computer I print from is a Mac Book Pro running OSX 10.6.8 and the Epson printer driver is whatever I downloaded from your website as the latest driver on the 18th August. Sorry - don't know where to look for the driver.

. I had a hard disk crash and lost everything on it. Whatever driver I was using previously was spot-on, the prints were absolutely identical to what was on my screen. This wasn't because of any intervention by me, I was just lucky. Now, however, when I print on Epson Premium Glossy paper (which I do all the time), I only have a choice of Epson Vivid in the Colour Settings or Off (No Colour Settings). The latter produces very dark prints and the former, very pink/blue prints. Where and how do I start to correct this?
