hp laserjet 5000 dc controller assembly removal

Hi-

Sorry for posting twice...I sent this to the wrong forum.

I'm trying to remove the dc controller assembly on my laserjet 5000. I'm using the service manual so generously provided here, and I'm totally stumped by the picture on pg. 6-48. I'm trying to find the location of the "long screws", and I can't find anything on my printer that looks like the area pictured in Fig. 6-38. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Hi-

An hour later, I figured out that the picture is of the top of the printer, although the picture is clearly of another model printer. I located the screws and removed them, however, something is still holding the dc controller assembly from "sliding" out. I don't want to pull too hard...is there an extra step before it comes out?

Thanks,

...figured this one out, too. For anyone else who might have the same problem in the future, there are spring metal contacts that apparantly become deformed and prevent the unit from sliding out freely. A few can be seen thru a notch at the back of the unit. I managed to free those gently with a screwdriver, and was able to slide the unit out, but there were still others that got a little mangled.
