Hp HP LaserJet P3005

HP Laserjet P3005 Hangs (with error 49.4C02)

My new printer HP Laserjet 3005 hangs a lot of times. sometimes work, sometimes not. Even if I only print a single page from the MS Word (only text), it hangs. Sometimes if I restart the printer the LCD is totally blank, it has light but no message or anything like "ready" message. sometimes error 49.4C02.

if you have some idea of this kind of problem, please help me solve this. this printer is from my work, heheh... thank you
There is a known problem with the formatter causing this error. It is possible you can fix this problem by upgrading the firmware especially if it is an older version

This is an extended warranty fix from an HP warranty center. Even out of warranty HP will have the $300 formatter replaced if the serial # is in their range of fixable printers. The blank display has a specific service note for the warranty. Ask a local HP warranty center to look it up.

I have found that under printer prefferences you set enaable tru type fonts as bitmaps it usually stops this error.
