Hp HP Color Inkjet 2000C

HP 2000c error code 146

HP 2000c error code 146

Anybody know what this code means?
I already tried cleaning print heads (contacts, etc.) but the led lights still blink.

I have the same problem. Did you find an answer?

I have been instructed on another site, the following....

Probably a faulty printhead or ink
Error codes and how to read them here

If you are getting false ink out/empty error, check the the white plungers underneath the ink cartridges. All 4 should be springy.

This error code is related to the ink supply station. It is fairly easy to replace. The springs that are under the plungers have probably worn or cracked the ISS.(ink supply-station)

I checked my springs under the plungers - they seem fine (nice and springy!) so I have ordered new print heads and ink cartriges and have to wait for those. Hopefully, this info will assist with the other situtaions posted.

What I have researched is error codes that begin with one (on off button blinking once) is for ink / print heads the second set, when the first is one defines the color and the third would just further define the issue. Since "6" is not listed on the error code list we can only guess - I am assuming 146 is the yellow print head and/or cartridge has an issue?

Good Luck - I will post on my outcome!
