Epson Epson Stylus Photo R2000

Keep R2000 or don’t bother?

I’d Like some advice.

I have a working R2000 and like it very much. I don’t print often, but enough to minimize any clogging issues. I run cleaning routines as needed on occasion but I have not had any problems with it since I’ve had it. I bought it in 2011 and I’ve been through less than 10 inkset replacements plus or minus. Some inks more than others.

I am beginning to consider, the end of life or waste ink full errors may be coming at some time soon.

What would be the steps/cost I would need to consider to keep my R2000 running? Waste ink pad, resetting, etc...

I am also considering jumping to a P800 17” printer.

(Am also considering ordering from Bay Photo and quit printing my own since I don’t print very often)

Any advice/considerations on extending the life of my R2000 is greatly appreciated. Apologies for the long post - I am on my phone and also working while typing. :-
