vertical line of letters printing all the way up the page

Hard to describe, but intermittently on some docs, a printout will have letters not printing in their row, but printing in a straight line up and down the paper. Like it isn't being fused to the paper and it is on a roller and printing farther up or down the paper. Almost every row has some type missing and where this happens, it forms a straight line indicating it has to be an issue with some drum or something. I have replaced the fuser and the toner cartridge. I am now seeing this on 2 different printers of different models.

Not being able to actually see the problem, you seem to have replaced the only 2 things that can cause it. I hate intermittent problems because you don't know if what you replaced has fixed it until some time has passed.
