Jam at front cover and jam at exit cover Xerox 8560 MFP
My Xerox 8560 MFP has developed an issue with jamming every 3 or 4 pages. This only happens when I am doing 2-sided printing.
Almost 300,000 pages have been printed over the life of this MFP, almost all double-sided.
The specific error I see is "Jam at front cover". When I open the cover one side of the paper (facing away from me) has already been printed. About 1/8" to 1/4" of the paper has progressed up into the roller. The bottom of the paper is somewhat crumpled as if the top roller stopped drawing or the top edge of the paper jammed after moving the fraction of the inch up and into the rollers.
This problem will sometimes go away on it's own after the printer has printed 50 to 100 pages. (And while this happened I could live with it by 'baby sitting' the printer until it 'hit stride'.) Now this behavior is constant.
Maybe 1 in 4 or 5 times I will see the error "Jam at exit cover" to begin with and after I have opened that cover the "Jam at front cover" error is shown. Most of the time there is *no* paper when I check for the "Jam at exit cover". There is always paper jammed behind the front cover.
Photos of a jam and the errors being displayed can be seen on my Google drive at: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0-ezaA8O-2PcEZL...
This machine has been stalwart for me for a long time and I would like to keep it in service.
Thank you for any assistance!
