We had a tree limb fall on a power line and the power keep going on and off for a while. Now my printer is giving me a 62.4 Service or various 79 Service (****). Can you please advise?
1. Remove SIMMs one at a time and recycle power to isolate. 2. If the problem persists, and the printer has a JetDirect card installed, remove the card and try using the parallel interface, if possible. 3. Replace the Formatter PCA.
During the time I submitted this post, I had just cycled power various times. Then suddenly all was right with the world again and it's working.
