2. Open the slide on the clear plastic waste bin, clean out the waste toner (Fig. 2).
Be sure to completely remove all the old toner.
3. Remove the larger white plastic toner cap (Fig. 3). Shake out the old toner. Do
not remove the developer from the magnetic roller.
4. If you are replacing the developer, proceed to step #5. If you are just replacing

5. Remove the following eight screws: Three are located by the toner/developer
caps - two are on the stainless steel bar and three are on the gear end of the
cartridge. After removing these screws, remove the two gears on the gear end
of the cartridge (Fig. 4). The large gear is removed by pulling it straight off.
The smaller gear is removed by compressing together the two prongs in the
center of the gear. After these have been removed, remove the two end caps
(toner cap must be out.) Remove the steel bar.
6. Now the mag roller is exposed and may be removed by lifting one end and

then the other end (Fig. 5). Clean and vacuum the developer area and
reservoir. Clean mag roller with a clean cloth.
7. Refill developer reservoir by slowly distributing developer from the bottle
across the length of the reservoir to ensure even distribution.
8. Reinsert mag roller and reassemble in reverse order. Note: Do not fill toner
hopper up until the end cap is back on the cartridge.
9. Empty the contents of the toner bottle into the toner reservoir and recap.
