1. Locate and remove the C clip on the large gear on the right hand side of the

cartridge (Fig. 1).

2. Slide off the gear, remove the small securing pin, and small white hub from the

axle (Fig. 2).

3. Pry out and remove the black retaining hub (Fig. 4) on the left hand side of the

cartridge.

4. Remove the OPC drum. Clean, inspect, and lubricate the drum. Store in a

dark place, replace if necessary.

5. Remove the 4 screws on the top of the cartridge (Fig. 5).

6. Lift the top cover and bracket off of the cartridge (Fig. 6).

7. Use compressed air or a vacuum to clean out residual toner from the hopper.

8. Remove the 2 wiper blade screws. Remove and clean the wiperblade, being

careful not to bend or crease the small mylar strip immediately below it (Fig. 7).

9. Re-assemble the cartridge in reverse order.
