Instructions:
1. Locate and remove the two screws (one on each side of the cartridge (fig. 1)).

2. Lift the cover while tilting it to the front of the cartridge to remove the unlocking
tabs.

3. Remove drum axle screw on left side (fig. 3).

4. Lift and remove the corona wire assembly. Inspect and clean with a cotton
swab saturated in 99% IPA.

5. Use the wire cutters to remove the varistor located on the corona wire
assembly (fig.4).

6. Use the soldering iron to solder a new varistor back on the cartridge.
7. Remove the springs from both sides of the plate (connected to the drum axle
plate (fig. 5 and 6)).

8. Remove the plastic locking pins located on both sides of the cartridge (fig. 7)

9. Split the cartridge in half.
10. Remove the left axle plate then lift and remove the drum. Inspect the drum for
damage; replace if necessary. Clean the drum with compressed air, and a
soft, lint-free cloth. Store the OPC drum in a clean, dark area to protect if from
light exposure and damage.
a. Remove the OEM gears.
b. Inspect and clean contacts.
c. Apply glue to the gears.
d. Install the gars onto the new drum.
Note: Oasis drums will have contact patches on the inside of one side.
Be sure to line up the contact points on the gear to rest on the patches.

11. Locate and remove the screws securing the wiperblade in place. Inspect the
blade for damage; replace if necessary. If you are reusing the blade, clean
toner off with compressed air followed by a lint-free cloth saturated in 99%
IPA (fig. 8).

12. Empty out remaining toner from the waste hopper. Clean off residual toner
with compressed air.
13. Reinstall the wiperblade.
14. Remove the endplate located on the gear side of the mag roller (2 screws fig. 9)).

15. Grasp the magnetic roller at the shaft ends and carefully lift it from the toner
hopper (fig. 10).

16. Remove the two screws securing the doctor blade in place (fig. 11).

17. Empty out remaining toner from the waste hopper and use compressed air to
clean off residual toner.
18. Replace the doctor blade, mag roller and end plate.
19. Fill the cartridge with toner and reinstall the hopper plug.

20. Reinstall the OPC drum and gear plate (do not screw in yet).
21. Reinstall the corona wire assembly, attach the ground clip to axle with axle
screw (fig. 12).
22. Connect the OPC unit and the toner hopper halves together. Attach the
springs and pins.
23. Place the cover back on the cartridge and secure in place with two screws.
