Remanufacturing Instructions

Phillips-head screwdriver

Soft, lint-free cloths P/N:99CL14

Small, flat-head screwdriver

Drum Unit Disassembly

1. Four locking tabs secure the gear cap to the drum unit
(Fig.1). Squeeze the cap and use a flat head screwdriver to
release the locking tabs. Remove the cap and set aside.

2. The drum axle (Fig. 2) is in a
locked position and is seated flush
to the drum housing. Using needle
nose pliers, rotate the axle counter
clockwise a quarter turn to release
the axle from its locked position.
Remove the axle and carefully
remove the drum.

3.Two screws hold the corona wire housing
in place. Remove the two screws (Fig.3).

4. Using a small flat head screwdriver, gently pry up (gear side) on
the black plastic screw housing that is attached to the corona wire
housing. Once the housing is released pull the housing up and towards
you to remove it. Clean the corona wire with compressed air.

5. Remove the two screws that hold the
wiper blade in place (Fig.4).
Remove the blade (Fig. 5) and clean with
compressed air.
Clean the waste bin with compressed air.

6. Reassemble the cartridge in reverse order to
insure proper assembly.
