Instructions:
1. Remove the phillips head screw on top cover (Fig. 1).

2. Remove the drum shutter. Note: Pry off the two hold-down tabs. Note how
the spring is attached (Fig. 1).
3. Remove the top cover. Use a flat head screwdriver to release 7 tabs: (4 on
bottom of cartridge, 2 on each side, 1 in front) and separate the two
cartridge halves (Figs. 1,2,& 3). Note: Toner will spill from the cartridge so
make sure to have something under the cartridge to catch toner spills.
4. Remove the OPC drum:

Remove the metal axle with a 3x10 metric screw. Thread the screw
into the axle, then pull the screw with pliers.

Remove the white plastic drum hub to remove OPC drum. Clean,
inspect, and lubricate the OPC drum. Replace if necessary. Use
only a light film of lubricating powder on the OPC surface.
5. Remove the primary charge roller (Fig. 4). Clean the roller with Anakenesis®
PCR cleaner. Clean the black conductive clip with cotton swab saturated with
99% Isopropyl Alcohol.
6. On the waste bin: remove the wiper blade (2 screws). Clean, inspect, and lubricate
the blade. Clean and vacuum the waste bin of all residual toner. Be

careful not to crease or bend the mylar strip located below the wiper blade.
7. Reinstall the PCR.
8. Install the wiper blade. Note: Rotate the OPC drum so that the blade will
remove any excess lubricating powder.
9.
Install the OPC drum. Insert the metal axle and plastic hub.

10. Remove the toner hopper plug (Fig. 4). Clean and vacuum the hopper of
all residual toner.
11. Fill the toner hopper with toner through the top cavity.
12. Use a #32 drill bit to drill out the two recessed screw holes shown in (Fig 5).
13. Join the two halves together. Note: Hold the hopper carefully to prevent toner
from spilling. Use six (6) 2.9x8 size self-tapping screws to secure the halves
to-gether (Fig. 2 & 4).
