Instructions:

1. Use a small screwdriver to unlatch the eight plastic clips on the toner cart-

ridge (six clips on the underside, and one clip on each end Figs. 1,2).

2. Carefully lift the lower half of the cartridge to separate the halves (be careful

not to snap off any of the clips). Any toner remaining in the cartridge will spill.

3. Vacuum any toner spills and all remaining toner in cartridge.

4. Remove the primary corona roller (PCR) and clean with Anakenesis® PCR

cleaner (Fig. 3). Use compressed air or a vacuum to clean out the cartridge

half.

5. Pry the steel drum axle as far out as possible from the cartridge with a small

screwdriver (Fig. 4).

6. Remove the steel drum axle with a pair of needle nose pliers (Fig. 5). Handle

the drum by the white gears to remove it from the cartridge.

7. Remove the two screws holding the wiperblade in place.

8. Clean and store drum in a dark place.

9. Vacuum out the wastebin and hopper.

10. Clean the black conductive clip that holds the charge roller in place with a cot-

ton swab and 99% IPA (see Fig. 3).

11. Install the PCR.

12. Lubricate the drum and wiperblade with padding powder.

13. Install wiperblade, then the OPC drum.

14. Secure the cartridge in an upright position and fill the hopper with toner.

Install seal if necessary.

15. Keeping the cartridge upright, carefully join the two halves together, making

sure all clips are latched. NOTE: In the event that any clips should be broken,

optional screw holes are included on the cartridge halves in order to insure a

proper seal (Fig. 1).
