Instructions:
1. Remove drum unit top cover (6 screws) (Fig. 1).

2. Remove the corona wire assembly (1 plastic pin). Clean the tungsten wire

with a Scotchbrite® pad and the cage with a foam tip applicator and
denatured alcohol (Fig. 2).

3. Remove the cleaning blade (2 screws). Clean, inspect and lubricate the

cleaning blade (with padding powder). Replace if necessary.

4. Remove the OPC drum (4 screws). Clean, inspect and lubricate the drum

(with padding powder) and store in a dark place. Replace if necessary
(Fig. 3).

5. Clean the unit of all waste toner.

6. Install the cleaning blade (2 screws).

7. Install the OPC drum (4 screws).

8. Install the corona wire assembly (1 plastic pin).

9. Install the drum unit top cover (6 screws).

Note: It is recommended the ozone filter be replaced with each drum unit
replacement. The following steps should be used for ozone filter replacement
(Fig. 4):

a. Raise the clamshell.
b. Remove the ozone filter cover from the clamshell.
c. Remove the ozone filter.
d. Install new ozone filter.
e. Install ozone filter cover

f. Close clamshell.
