Ricoh® 4080/4081 Belt Replacement

Recommended Tools:

Approximate Remanufacturing

Phillips head screwdriver

Time: 15-20 min.

Small flat head screwdriver

Instructions:

1. Remove two screws on corona assembly. The corona grid unit has spring ten-

sion and and be removed by first pushing it to the left and then lifting off
(Fig. 1).

2. Remove four screws on bottom of belt housing (Fig. 2).
a. Lift cover off carefully.
b. Note the location of the wire springs.
3. Remove the two spring assemblies.
4. Lift belt assembly up and out of housing and remove belt.
5. Vacuum and clean housing of all loose toner.
6. Slide new belt on, return belt assembly to housing.

7. Replace springs on shaft, and hold cover up at an angle (spring rods fit into

grooves in housing).

8. Install the housing and secure with four screws.
9. Install corona grid and secure with two screws
