Instructions:

1 a. Locate the drum axle.

b. Remove the 2 "C" clips (1 on each end).

c. Pull the drum axle out the left side being careful not to damage the drum.

d. Clean, inspect and lubricate the drum and store in a dark place. Replace if

necessary.

2 a. Remove the 7 screws (screws 1-7) on unit top (Fig 1).

b. Remove the erase lamps and set on side.

c. Remove the 2 screws (screws 8-9) under the lamp unit. Remove cleaning

blade. Clean, inspect and lubricate the cleaning blade. Replace if necessary.

d Remove top cover (Fig 2). Clean unit of all waste toner.

e. Clean corona wire assembly with a Scotchbrite® pad.

NOTE: If foam roller is lifted out of its position, be certain to place square

bushings back in their wells (Fig 3).

3. Install wiperblade, top cover, and erase lamps, using 9 screws.
4. Install drum with large gear to the right.

5. Install axle from the right side of the unit.

6. Replace the 2 "C" clips.

NOTE: The drum counter on the 1306 must be changed.
