Installation Instructions
2100 Canon L-50 Toner Low Sensor Bar

1.
The toner hopper section must be
completely disassembled, including
removal of the Dr. Blade. Using a 1/8
th
inch drill bit, make a small hole as
indicated in figure one.

2. Carefully insert the toner low sensor bar
into the hole. Keep pushing the bar in
until it reaches the other side of the
hopper where the end of the bar will fit
into an existing hole. Take care to insure
that the plastic grommet on the bar fits
into the hole.
?
It is highly recommended that a small amount of silicone
sealant be applied around the outside of the drill hole to
insure that there is no leakage.

3.
Note the location of the installed toner
sensor bar.

4. Reattach mag roller contact end-cap.
Note the position of the end of the sensor
tab. It should align with a small hole on
the inside of the mag roller contact end
cap.
!
Remember to add the L-50 conversion tab. This
tab must be in place for the cartridge to be used
in the L-50 series copiers.

5.
Once the contact end-cap has been
re-installed, it should fit snuggly over the
end of the toner low sensor bar.

If the end cap is bowed out slightly near
the connection with the toner low bar, than
the bar has not been pushed all the way
into the hole on the opposite end of the
cartridge.
