Instructions:
1. Remove the two phillips head screws located on each side on the top of the
cartridge (Fig. 1).
a. Remove the two clips that hold the cartridge together (Fig. 2).
b. Split the cartridge in half: toner hopper and OPC drum assembly unit.
c. NOTE: Do not overexpose the OPC drum unit to light).
2. Remove the gear cover (2 screws) on the toner hopper assembly. NOTE:
Make a note of gear position for re-assembly. Remove the end brace from

the magnetic roller and lift the roller from the toner hopper assembly (Fig. 3)
3. Remove the doctor blade (2 screws- Fig. 4) Clean the blade with a lint free,
non-treated cloth saturated with 99% IPA.
4. Use compressed air to clean out the toner hopper. When all residual toner
is removed, refill the hopper.

5. Reassemble the toner hopper assembly:
a. Install doctor blade (2 screws).
b. Install magnetic roller (1 end brace).
c. Install gears and gear cover.
6. Remove the OPC drum (2 screws, 1 axle). Clean, inspect and lubricate the

drum. Replace if necessary. Store the drum in a dark location.
7. Remove the primary charge roller (PCR)- Fig. 5. Apply Anakenisis® PCR
cleaner to a clean, lint-free cloth and wiper the length of the PCR until all
residue is removed from the surface of the PCR. NOTE: Use alcohol and
cotton swabs to clean the black conductive C clips and springs. Clean all
electrical contacts.

8. Remove the wiper blade (2 screws- Fig. 6). Clean, inspect and lubricate;
replace if necessary.
9. Clean and vacuum the toner waste bin. Note: Be careful not damage the
recovery blade.

10. Install the drum cleaning blade (2 screws).
11. Install the Primary Charge Roller (PCR).
12. Install OPC drum and drum axle (2 screws, 1 axle, 1 retrofit drum axle).
Lubricate the drum with a thin coating of padding powder and turn the drum into
the wiper blade to any remove excess.
