Required:
#2 Philips Screwdriver, small flat head screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, end
clippers, vacuum, compressed air.
1. Remove the two screws on the top
of the toner cartridge shell (Fig 1).
2. Locate the three plastic locking
tabs on the front of the cartridge.
Gently pry them apart with a small
flat-head screwdriver (Fig 2).

3. Remove cartridge lid. CAUTION,
if there is any toner left in the hopper
it will spill out. Vacuum out any
residual toner from the cartridge
interior (Fig 3).
4. Remove the three screws from the
end plate on the non-geared side of
the cartridge (Fig 4).

5. Carefully pry out the shutter arm
from the end plate with a small flat-
head screwdriver. Do not remove the
drum shutter from the other end plate
(Fig .5)
6. Remove the end plate (Fig .6).

7.Remove three screws on other end
cap (Fig. 7).
8. Remove end cap with OPC shutter
still attached (Fig .8).

9. Note the gear orientation, these
will have to be removed to complete
the remanufacturing process (Fig 9)
10. Remove the two screws on each
end of the PCR cradle and remove
the PCR assembly. It is possible to
clean the PCR while it is still
assembled in the cradle, do not
remove the drive gear and be carefull
not to loose the compression springs
located at the end of the PCR
assembly (Fig 10).

11. Remove the three screws that hold
the wiper blade in place then remove
the wiper blade. CAUTION: The
urethane strip on the bottom of the
wiper blade is easily damaged, do not
bend it(Fig 11).
12. Remove the OPC by pulling it out
by the large helical drive gear (Fig 12).

13. Pry off the developer roller /sponge
roller stabilizer plate located in the
gear housing (Fig .13).
14. Carefully slide the developer roller
out of the opening, do not scratch it or
handle the surface with your fingers

15. Vacuum out all excess toner ,
particularly the sponge delivery
roller. Also wipe off the working
edge of the Dr. Blade with a lint free
cloth. Reassemble in reverse order,
filling the toner hopper before putting
cartridge lid on (Fig .15)
