Required:
#2 Philips Screwdriver, small flat head screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, end
clippers, vacuum, compressed air.
1. With end-clippers cut and remove the
small plastic wall surrounding the center
locking screw. Using the needle-nose
pliers remove the screw and replace it
with a #2 self-tapping screw before re-
assembly (Fig 1).
2. Remove the other four screw from the
top of the cartridge (Fig 2).

3. Push in locking tabs on the front of the
cartridge (Fig 3).
4. Carefully remove the top cover of
cartridge (Fig 4).

5. Vacuum out all remaining toner from
the toner hopper, sponge delivery roller
and cartridge interior (Fig 5).
6. Remove the three screws that hold the
gear side endplate in place, and then
remove the end plate (Fig 6).

7. End plate removal. Pcr will remain
in place untill other end cap is
removed (Fig 7).
8. Note Gear orientation in case any
of them fall off during the
remanufacturing process (Fig 8).

9. Remove the three screws to release
end cap from the non-geared side of
the cartridge shell. (Fig 9).
10. Remove PCR from the cartridge.
Leave the drive gear on the PCR shaft
(Fig .10).

11. Remove the two screws that hold the
foam PCR cleaner in place. CAUTION:
there is a thin piece of urethane that acts
as a wiperblade attached to the underside
of the cleaning bar, do not damage this
component when removing the cleaning
bar.
12. Remove the opc drum from the large
helical gear end.

13.Clean the developer roller as well
as the sponge roller with compressed
air. It is not recommended to remove
the Dr. Bar assembly because of the
possibility of damaging the sealing
foam (Fig. 13). After reinstalling all
components in reverse order, fill
hopper with toner then replace top
cover.
