1.
Remove one screw securing the spring loaded drum shutter actuator arm.
Remove the spring from the actuator arm. The actuator spring is tension loaded
into the actuator arm and may dislodge and become lost.
2.
Raise the drum shutter above the top of the cartridge and gently pull both metal
shutter-retaining arms from their holes in the sides of the toner cartridge.
3. Using a flat head screwdriver, gently pry loose the blue drum gear. Once the
gear is loose, use your fingers to remove the gear from the drum drive shaft.
4.
Rotate the toner cartridge and remove the seven screws securing the end plate.
(Do not remove the end cap until both endcaps have their screws removed)
5.
Rotate the toner cartridge and remove the six screws securing the endcap.
Gently pull the end cap away from the toner cartridge and remove. Take care
too not to tilt the cartridge and cause the gears to fall from their holes.

Once both endcaps are removed, carefully lift the drum up and out of the
cartridge. Cover drum and place in a light protected area.
7.
Lift the pcr by the metal shaft and remove from cartridge.
8.
Turn the cartridge over, use a flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic
drum cover.
Remove the five sweeper blade agitator gears and axles. Note the position
of the gears as well the position of the sweeper blades. The agitator gears
and axles are notched and positioned specifically with the internal sweeper
blades. *See lower diagram for sweeper blade positions.

With the drum and the pcr you can now remove the wiperblade. You will
notice the wiperblade had mounted on the lower front metal stamping, a gold
colored bar. This bar is attached by double side tape to the metal stamping.
There are also two machine screws attached to the bar through elongated
holes in the bottom of the wiperblade stamping.
11.
Inspect mylar recoveryblade for wear and loose ends. Replace if worn, loose
or wavy.
12.
Inspect drum foams for toner adhesion and looseness.
13.
Clean PCR saddle clips and electrical contact.
