Problem:

Printed page has a black stripe along the left edge or has a ghost image in the center.

Cause:

The thermal protector wears out the end of the teflon roller, causing the stripe on the left side. The ghosting is caused by toner buildup on the teflon fuser roller. This buildup is more prevalent with the use of poorly rebuilt toner cartridges (well rebuilt cartridges, like the ones produced by Laser Service's cartridge techs, are actually superior to OEM).

Solution:

Replace the necessary parts, all of which are included in this repair kit (along with easy to follow directions).
