sensor covering via electrical tape or sharpie black marker was working for me but thanks to reading through all of the threads on this site as well as other googling I was able to reset them with the internal gear reshift In my opinion and I am a former Xerox filed technician it seems impossible to reset them without performing this step The photo that says Set the reset gear and spring as shown
