HP business inkjet 1100 with a few problems and any help would be appreciated a After installing a ner printhead the printer not spits out a blank page after every print job No software settings have been changed and it started doing it straight after changing the printhead Put the old one back to no avail b The printer wont grab from the lower paper tray and taked everything from the top If I hold the paper in the top tray it takes it from the bottom but this is not ideal Software is setup right and it does sound like its trying to grab from the bottom Any help would be great I love this printer

<dc:subject>InkJet Forum</dc:subject>

<item tray

This officejet AllinOne is about three years old has printed 988pages according the counter I can check on the display Out of a sudden it keeps saying that its out of paper even when a pile of say 20 sheets of paper are in its tray I am used to its long time of mussing before starting to print It will still muss after I issue a print command will send the cartridges to the right and back to the left then asks for paper requesting me to press after loading I noticed that looking into the printer from the rear with the gray cover being off I do not see the rubber covered roller hanging down on the paper stack turning I suspect the problem to be there Maybe the drive for this roller is broken thus the roller will not feed the paper I had HP support yesterday on the chat HP will not repair Has anyone had a similar problem How do I open the bottom to get at the drive How to repair it Thanks

<dc:subject>InkJet Forum</dc:subject>

<item life

Thanks for your info on HP 5658 and 57 cartridges Recently I saw some info saying that HP cartridges told the printer when they were low on ink but that this person had found a way to fool the printers sensor into thinking the cartridge was still full This test showed that after about 40 prints the sensor said replace cartridge This person said that he had placed a piece of black tape over the sensor and the printer continue to print another 80 copies before exhaustion Do you know anything about this procedure Is it really a valid way to extend cartridge life Heres the big question: Where exactly is the sensor located Interested in your take on this idea Thanks
