HP Color Laserjet CP6015 NO DISPLAY by tdata2004 (2/15/11 12:25 PM) reply + / -
I have a CP6015 that has no display. When powering on, the backlight comes on but no verbage on the display. The engine test will feed one sheet of paper up to the transfer unit and stops, either with or without the formatter board in. The fan does run which should indicate dc power ok. We have replaced the dc controller, any help appreciated. I believe the engine test should work without the formatter board installed??
thanks

I have one that does the same thing, mine does print the engine test fine but Ive tried replacing the formatter, and the control panel next was the DC controller, but doesnt seem like it worked for you. If you find something let me know.

Per HP, steps , in order, to perform:

1: replace dimm
2: replace formatter
3: replace dc controller

Replacing the memory should resolve the issue, and should not need to go to step two

Replacing the memory worked for me
