About 3 weeks ago, my Epson Stylus Color 740 printer will start printing when no one is near the machine. It will print out a series of letters over and over until I turn off the printer. When I turn the printer back on, it will be fine for a while. Then, for no apparent reason, it will start printing again. It is wasting paper and ink. I have to keep it turned off until I have to immediately use it.
What is going on? Thanks.

I am having a similar issue. My printer is an HP Photosmart Plus. It does have a wireless option, but it is not activated. All the sudden my printer, when no one is around, will start printing. I have gotten sales ads, pictures of Obama, and pictures of osama bin laden. I would really like to figure out what is causing this to happen and remedy the situation. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I think I "may" have fixed my problem. I updated the driver for it and so far, no more mysterious printing. Hope you can get yours to stop having a mind of it's own too. Good luck!
