Turn the printer off. Remove the drum and cartridge unit from the printer. On the right side of the drum is a black gear. Move it about 2 inches in either direction and put back in the printer and turn the printer on and hopefully it will come to ready. If not you may have to clean that unit up or replace the drum unit which contains the developing pieces.

Since we have one of these as our main office printer I tried to download the manual but it has expired. I will probably need it in the future. I do need a adf sep pad for it now. Does anyone have a good source for these? Thanks Rob S
