Got an Epson CX9400(Fax). It's been going along for several months now printing things up regular. Yesterday, I got a message that it doesn't recognize my cygna cartridge. Same old cartridge it's used for awhile. That cartridge is just over half full. How in the heck can I work around this problem?

Also after you replace the cartridge try to wiggle the cartridge a little while pushing down on it but not to much force. I have had the same trouble numerous times. Also your cartridge chip may have gone bad as they get older.Right now I cannot print because of a clogged print head. Just ordered the cleaning kit which works great.
Good luck
P.S. one mor thing you may try, after you replace the cartridge and before you press ok just pull the power from your printer and wait a few seconds, then plug it back in and power it up. If you have an empty cartridge put that onein until the printer says it's empty then put your cartridge back in. DO NOT TOUCH THE CONTACTS ON THE CHIP AS THE OIL ON YOUR HANDS MAY CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS.
