I have a 1 yr old Dell E1505 laptop computer which I use regularly. My Hp 932C printer was hooked to a very old desktop computer using windows XP via parallel cable and worked fine. The desktop computer crashed.....so since the laptop doesn't accommodate parallel connections, I used USB. Immediately the laptop recognized the printer and went for drivers. Completed the process and said the printer was ready. I checked and the printer is set as the default.
When I try to print, I get an error page back saying" Unable to start print job. Is printer available?"
I held down the middle button on the printer to generate a test page and all works well. I unplugged and tried again.....still getting the same process, recognition and error message.....BUT NO PRINTING.
Any suggestion??
