can somebody please help how to reset canon pixma mp198..I can get in to the service printer mode but after pressing again the stop/reset button,the printer has no reaction,the alarm led didn't lit up,guyz help me please..thnx

please help! i have the same problem. when i enter service mode it will just show "0" then nothing happens. I just wanted to print eeprom information for meter reading purposes. need your help badly!

Try this then email me if it works: Reset Waste Ink 1) Enter SERVICE MODE. By pressing Menu, Copy, Scan, Copy, Copy 2) Select TEST MODE. 3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE. 4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR]. 5) Select 0. [INK COUNT]. 6) Press the [Set] key. 7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

1. tekan reset tanpa dilepas tekan tombol power 2. lalu tekan tombol reset 2 kali tanpa melepas tombol power. 3. lalu lepas bareng kedua tombol 4. display menunjukan angka o 5. tekan tombol reset 4 kali lalu matikan printer http://www.matrixprinter.blogspot.com
