Cleaning Laser Feed Roller

What is a good way to clean a laser printer feed roller at home? I have a Minolta Magicolor 3100 printer and the bypass tray feed roller isn't gripping any more and looks a little shiny. Can I rejuvenate it so that I can use the bypass tray again? Are there any products around the house that I can use? I hear that alcohol should not be used.

Is there any household product or cleaner that I can use? I need to use my printer today and don't have time to get that products shipped to me.

Alcohol dries rubber out and damages it. What you need is something that penetrates the rubber and deglazes it and restores a grip to it. That is what the rubber rejuvenator is designed to do. I've seen a lot of people experiment with household chemicals and usually all they do is damage the printer worse than it already was.
