I recently purchased a new computer with the window vista, my previous computer had windows xp. My printer lexmark 1200 series was functional with the xp computer. I have installed and uninstalled, unplugged shut down and replugged the power source and usb cords with no sucess on the new computer. The window that pops up says: windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer set up. *check printer by printing a test page from windows. *make sure the printer is turned on and on line. *reinstall the printer driver. Could it be that this printer,fax,scanner is not compatable with vista? and if so is there a way to load a driver so that vista will recognize the printer program? I am open for suggestions.
And if there simply is no solution to my delema...would anyone like a lexmark 1200 printer all in one? I'll only charge you for the new ink cartarages. Hee hee.
