HP LaserJet IIID - No Power

HP LaserJet IIID has stopped working. If I leave it unplugged for awhile and then try it again the fans come on but no display. I turn it off and then back on and now nothing happens, not even fans. From reading the previous posts it sounds like the DC power supply. Is that the entire metal box that sits in the front right of the printer or is it a part within that box? Looks like a lot of cables running into it.
