Have looked on this site for ideas on less expensive refill systems for these two printers, versus paying "full freight" from the manufacturer. The Brother is over $45 for a refill!

No luck on the researching on this forum so far.

So writing to the forum for any ideas...

Do you know of any refill kits for either of these printers?

Or, are there "tricks" to fool the printer into thinking the cartridge is still full?

The Brother is particularly thirsty, so that would be a priority.

Thanks for any help you might have.

Ted

You can take your used ink cartridges to Walgreens and the will refill them for much less $.

Also there is a post where someone taped the side of the cartridge to cover up sensor and that took care of the problem of thd printer stopping printing even tho there was anywhere from 8% to 50% ink left in the cartridge.

I looked but am not sure wher the sensor is located as yet.

I have an Officejet 6200 so I think this will work for yours.
