this is my first post here pls be gentle.
I keep getting an error message which says:
"The type of print head is incorrect. Please install the correct print head."
i rang canon to find out cost on new print head , they tell me it mite not be the print head could be something else yeah Good one canon.
has any1 experienced this error or have a fix maybe. Tia

I did have some success with another printer of the same brand MP780. It wasn't printing the black ink at all, but it wasn't giving the same message either. Anyway, I soaked in water over the weekend, rinsed it a million times and it is now running perfectly. Good Luck

did you try soaking the print head?????
or replacing it?
