 | HP Laserjet 5L - Only prints half a page! by Amonte (5/9/08 11:33 PM) reply | + / - | I am trying to print a simple 16pt font one page document. It will only print the first maybe 3/4 of the page (it varies by a few paragraphs on each attempt) but the rest of the page is followed by little black vertical lines instead of letters randomly.
I tried changing the font (arial vs Times new roman) thinking maybe its' the font, but still the same result.
Ink prints evenly and is not faded, and have had it print the last half sometimes on a second page.
**If I split this document in half on two pages it will print completely**
There is only 1mb of memory in the printer, but it should be way more than enough for a one page 16pt font regular typed document :/
I am running Windows XP Media Center Edition.
I'm at a loss as to how to fix this or what is causing this??
Please help! THANKS!

That will effectively quadruple your memory. You won't see any difference in text, only graphics. If you're only using text and it works, leave the setting that way. If you need to use graphics, you'll have to add a memory card. That model takes a special card that only works with the 5L/6L models.
