Printing problem with HP Photosmart C4100 by Noory (4/28/08 10:14 AM) reply + / -
We have a HP Photosmart C4100 All-in-One series printer. Just recently whenever we try to print we have a program called "MARKET RESEARCH" come up on the screen and we can't get rid of it. Does anyone know how to get rid of this. Thank-you.

If the program has nothing to do with HP, a spyware program has probably invaded your computer. Depending which operating system you are using, Microsoft offers software to remove spyware. You can also find other removal programs by using Google.

This must be one of hp's egocentric thingies that seems to have come from their lab in India and must be on all photosmart all-in-ones because I had it on my c3180 xp printer but when I got a c4380, I installed it on the wireless network and as a result there aren't any identifiable files. However the name of the file that puts out the image that interrupts your printing is marketresearch.msi. I would appreciate finding how to get it removed from my printer also.
