Cis in Canon IX4000. by trowaldie (2/12/08 7:18 PM) reply + / -
After a lot of trouble finaly installed my CIS for canon ix4000
All the led-lights are burning.
But the warning light is also flashing.

The computer say:problem with inktanks: remove cartridges with non-burning lights..
But they are all burning..

What to do ????

Hi all,
I have a new Canon ix4000 which for the first time I have removed the ink tanks, drilled a small hole, refilled, resealed and replaced. Now I have these red lights blinking at me. What to do????

I have had a Canon i865 for over 4 years which I have been doing the same as above without a single problem. I note in another forum :- http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/inkjet/41348
that people are having problems with their Canon Pixma IP1000 Waste Ink Full warning lights, and I was wondering if the same method would fix this problem???
In anticipation,
Ashflat.
