Bypass cartridge expiration date - non-tech result by rosgoodwins (1/20/08 4:42 AM) reply + / -
I woulda posted this to the existing thread, but I wasn't given the option to reply.

I've got an HP 2230, and came across the problem of expired cartridges just this morning. I tried changing the date in my clock, but that didn't work. So I binned the expired cartridge, amid much cussing and stuck in a non-HP emergency cartridge I had. I noticed when I put it in that it didnt' have an expriation date on it, and it worked.

So, then I retrieved the binned cartridge and peeled off the label and put it back in - and HP has been foiled!
