My 4-year-old OKI color laser prints fine except for intermittently adding a yellow background to the pages. One print job will be fine, the next will have yellow backgrounds, no pattern to it and I have spent weeks experimenting with different document types, etc.
When I set the driver to print in "greyscale only" this problem doesn't happen. Unfortunately the driver won't default to greyscale so I have to set it every time - PITN!
I have set up the latest XP drivers for this printer and that did not cure the problem.
Anyone ever encounter this before?
