Resetting Canon MP530

I see posts on here and elsewhere about resetting a Canon MP530 printer by pressing the "resume" button and I don't see a "resume" button anywhere on this printer. I do have a "Stop/Reset" button but that doesn't do anything to reset this printer.

I'm asking because I bought a continuous ink system that required me to take off the original chips and glue them on the new ink cartridges and now its not recognizing my cyan ink cartridge. Does anyone have any other idea's on how to do this?

Thank you.
to override this problem hold stop/reset button down for about 15 seconds it fixed the problem for me

cool, you realy saved my day...I had a nasty message about ink level in cartridge not recognized and menue access was impossible....I hold down the stop/reset button on my canon 550 and it jumped to a service menue. I could go back as usualy and the cartridge is shown in gray-deactivated measuring I suppose. I tested the cartridges and seems all are working.
