EPSON CX4200 Roller problem by justinianoil (8/2/07 10:24 AM) reply + / -
Hi,
I purchased this printer in January and it stopped feeding paper correctly at about 2 months. The rollers on the right side yank the paper in crookedly, which causes the printer to jam. The paper never really feeds into the machine so I am able to carefully pull it out whole. We have tried different types of paper, turning the paper over, etc. Very occasionally we were able to get one print out if I put a little pressure on the top right corner of the paper just as it was feeding to prevent it from being yanked in crookedly, but even that has stopped working. Now, to make things worse, our Stylus C84 which is exactly three years old has begun to do the same thing.
Does anyone know of a solution I could try at home? I have two kids going to college, I'm in graduate school and a single mom and we need these printers to work for school.
Thanks in advance,
Virginia
