hp psc 2410 Director

I can't get the HP Director menu to open so I can scan. I've checked all cables, uninstalled and reinstalled but no show for the director. I click the icon but nothing happens. I can open the Galery and do everything else but get the Director to open. Any back door access for this? Thanks
