photosmart 2613 all-in-one error

Hi there. Can anybody please help me. I've got a HP Photosmart 2613 all-in-one printer wich gives me the following error on the little screen when I switch it on: ox886a69f6. Please if any body can help me it would be apprecheated. reinhardt@moriti.co.za

All you can do is unplug the power overnight and hope it works in the morning.

Other than that you need parts to troubleshoot this, and the only parts source is used machines.

I've just got a HP Photosmart 2610 in with the same fault - power up and after a minute or so all the lights flash and error 0x886a69f6 and some Chinese looking writing underneath appears. There's no activity of the printer or the scanner.

Looking around I found a Chinese website that seems to suggest the error indicates a serious, essentially fatal hardware failure - possibly the modem/fax chip set or something similar (this one have have apparently couldn't be seen over the USB connection).
