OfficeJet G85 - no response

	OfficeJet G85 - no response by Frisbee (12/31/06 3:49 PM) reply	+ / -
I press the power button on my G85, and get no response. No response at all. I am ASSUMING my power adapter is good - the green LED on the power cable is lit. I am also ASSUMING the mainboard/power supply is bad - anyone have a part number and supplier for that? And am I correct in assuming that the mainboard and power supply are integrated inone board?

No parts available. You usually have to get a whole unit to get the mainboard. The power adaptor is the power supply, the mainboard is the logic board.

Well dang. I picked this printer up for free, hoping there was a reasonable solution - maybe a simple fuse replacement. The answer you gave is not the one I was hoping for, but I sure do appreciate your quick response. Out to the curb it goes, I suppose.
