 | HP LaserJet 1300 Diagrams by trrwilson (12/21/06 1:33 PM) reply | + / - | Hello all; I'm working as a PC/Printer tech and my employer is using HP LaserJet 1300s when people request to have a personal printer. We've been using them for about 2 or 3 years, and we have about half a dozen sitting around with bad fusers. A previous employee had figured out how to replace the fusers, but they left without showing anyone else. Since then, their job has become mine, and I'm left trying to figure out how to replace these things.
I'm not an expert at printer work, but I have replaced pickup assemblies in 8000/5si models and a few 4600s as well as DC controllers (again in 4600s) and fusers (in 4000s, 4200s, 8000/5si). But when I try to work on one of these it's like I'm Superman and the printers are made of kryptonite.
However, it seems that some of the people here have been able to successfully disassemble these things and replace fusers. I'm hoping that someone can please please PLEASE share with me some diagrams, or very precise step-by-step instructions on removing and replacing the fuser assembly.

As usual, I am a day late - just found your post, and the 7th day has expired. Any possibility that you could repost the HP1300 diagram?
TIA,
Cary

Am stuck with a DOS software version that must run on an LJ1300 with a torn fuser film via a parallel cable. Would love to see that diagram if possible.
Thank you,
Tom
