HP 2100 paper feed

HP 2100 paper feed by Gary (4/4/02 6:02 PM) reply + / -
I bought an HP2100TN. When I print the light starts blinking and I have to push the go button ( Bib button at the front) to get it to print. If I put the paper in the manual feed slot it prints OK without pushing anything. I have tried everything I can find in the properties boxes but nothing changes.I have it hooked to the parallel port at present. I tried connecting it from the network connection and I tried taking the second paper feed tray off. But nothing seems to work. Any sugetioins would be greatly appreciated

Do a cold reset on the printer. Turn printer off, and hold down the rear button. Power printer on and continue holding the button. Wait until all the lights quit flashing and the printer quits making noise, it might take a couple of minutes.
