How do I clean the printhead on my canon i550 printer? I can not find any info for doing this (at least that I can understand). Any help will be appreciated. Thank You.

standalone head cleaning - with printer powered on, press & hold the rusume button until the green indicator flashes once & then let go. press & hold for 2 flashes - prints nozzle check regards Joe
My Canon i550 flashes 7 orange flashes and then one longer green flash. Is this my printer head? What should I do? My printer is a few years old-is it just worn out? Please advise! Thanks, Joyce
