| Re: magicolor 2300....black toner not installed by Anonymous (8/25/06 10:55 AM) reply | + / - | not too familiar with the magicolor printers, but i would try to clean the contacts in the printer where the cartridge goes. sounds like you blew the toner in adifferent spot causing an issue. always use a lint-free cloth. never use canned air in a printer.

remove the left panel from the printer and then remove all toner cartridges. In the upper section of the toner compartment you'll find a n optical sensor which reads the cartridges. Slightly bend this one to the front of the machine. This error usually happens when a toner cartridge is not installed the right way.
